Hannover Re names Wilson MD of Life & Health Global Services

Global reinsurer Hannover Re has announced the appointment of Margot Wilson as Managing Director of the newly created division Life & Health Global Services.
The division will be responsible for spearheading crucial initiatives related to L&H that align with the long-term execution of Hannover Re’s strategic plan.
This also includes a focus on consistently improving Hannover Re’s competitive edge and refining its L&H service offerings.
Wilson brings over two decades of leadership experience in life insurance, financial services, and management consulting, having joined Hannover Re in 2020 as Chief Operating Officer of Hannover Life Re of Australasia.
Prior to this, she was part of Deloitte Australia, where she served as Principal within the company’s Operations Transformation consulting practice.
The executive also spent five years with finance services firm AMP, where she held a number of roles. Before this, Wilson worked at National Australia Bank for four years.
Her career has also seen her hold roles at Macquarie Bank, KPMG Advisory and Accenture.
Commenting on her new appointment at Hannover Re, Wilson said: “I’m delighted to be leading this next chapter in L&H’s global services, working with our talented partners and teams to evolve our service proposition and strengthen its underlying foundations.”
