Hazelton named executive VP at Everest

Everest Group Ltd. Tuesday named Bill Hazelton executive vice president of Everest Insurance and president of North America insurance.

He replaces Mike Mulray, who “is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities,” Everest said in a statement.

Warren, New Jersey-based Mr. Hazelton most recently was head of U.S. retail casualty and industry practices. He joined Everest earlier this year from Chubb Ltd.

Mr. Mulray was promoted to head of North America insurance last year.
