Hiscox introduces new Personnel Security Plus product

Hiscox, a provider of specialist insurance solutions, has introduced a new offering called Personnel Security Plus.

This product is designed to enhance the coverage provided by Hiscox’s existing Kidnap and Ransom insurance policy, offering businesses added protection for their employees who face a growing range of risks.

The policy covers 22 distinct threats, including workplace violence, cyber stalking, abduction, bribery, blackmail, social engineering, and terrorism.

Personnel Security Plus gives businesses access to Control Risks, a global risk consultancy, for pre-event threat assessment, post-incident recovery, and support.

These services are available around the clock through Control Risks’ advanced Global Risk and Operations Centre.

In critical situations, a crisis management expert from Control Risks can be immediately dispatched to assist policyholders on-site, depending on the nature and severity of the incident.
