Howden hires former Aon exec to lead US construction practice

Howden U.S. announced Wednesday it has hired Mark Peterson, a former Aon managing director, as head of its construction, infrastructure and surety practice.

Mr. Peterson joined Aon in 2014 and most recently led its construction professional liability team. Previously, he worked as a lawyer.

London-based Howden has hired approximately 250 staff since launching its U.S. retail operation last month.

Many of the staff are from Marsh, which has sued Howden and several former executives; however, Howden also has recruited from other rivals.
