Howden launches new UK renewable energy quote and bind platform

Howden’s Power & Renewable Energy team has launched a UK quote and bind platform, fully accredited by Lloyd’s and exclusive to Howden’s retail network.

Announced in a recent LinkedIn post, the platform is backed by London insurers with capacity of up to £100 million per declaration.

This facility offers Howden’s clients a competitive, streamlined approach to securing construction and operational insurance for their renewable energy assets.

Last year, Howden Re, the reinsurance arm of Howden, highlighted the critical role the re/insurance industry plays in supporting the global shift towards renewable energy, essential for both the climate and the global economy’s future.

Howden Re also emphasised the need for greater transparency and collaboration among all stakeholders to ensure that risks are appropriately placed and managed.
