Howden names former WTW exec as CEO of climate risk division

Howden Broking Group Ltd. said Tuesday it has hired Rowan Douglas, formerly head of Willis Towers Watson PLC’s climate and resilience hub, as CEO of its climate risk and resilience division.
Charlie Langdale, previous head of the division, was named chair, climate risk and resilience.
Mr. Douglas, who is based in London, will report to David Howden, CEO of Howden.
Mr. Douglas will continue in his role as chair of the operating committee of the Insurance Development Forum, a public-private partnership supported by insurers that works to mitigate climate and disaster risk.
