Howden Re appoints Emily Lo as Head of Analytics, Asia

Howden Re, the reinsurance division of Howden, has announced the appointment of Emily Lo as Head of Analytics, Asia.

Lo is a qualified actuary with over 20 years of experience in general insurance and reinsurance across Asia and Australia.

Her expertise spans pricing, reserving, product development, and capital & reinsurance management for both retail and commercial lines of business.

Lo joins Howden Re from AXA Hong Kong and Macau, where she spent the past eight years in senior roles, including Head of Pricing and Product, P&C Pricing & Reinsurance Director, and most recently as GI Pricing & Product Development Director.

Prior to that, she spent nearly nine years at Swiss Re in various leadership roles, including Head of Casualty Treaty Costing, Asia.

Earlier in her career, she held Actuarial Analyst positions at Vero and QBE Insurance.
