HSB (UK & Ireland) names Andrew Burke as CEO

HSB (UK & Ireland), a provider of engineering insurance and inspection services, has appointed Andrew Burke as Chief Executive Officer, subject to regulatory approval.

Burke has more than 30 years of experience in insurance and financial services. He was previously CEO of DAS UK Group, where he managed the company’s strategic partnerships in the UK.

Earlier in his career, he held a number of senior roles at RSA Insurance Group over a thirteen-year period. These included Strategic Partnerships Director in the UK, CEO of Central & Eastern Europe and the Middle East, and CEO of Emerging Markets.

In his new position, Burke will be responsible for HSB UK and Ireland’s insurance, inspection, and building warranty businesses.
