Hub acquires California-based construction specialist

Hub International Ltd. said Tuesday it has acquired the assets of the Wooditch Co., a privately held commercial insurance, risk management and employee benefits services company that advises clients in industries including construction.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Hub said in a statement that the Irvine, California-based Wooditch’s construction industry specialization supports its specialty practice in this area.
