Hub acquires Georgia-based construction specialist

Hub International Ltd. said Monday it has acquired Skinner & Co. Inc., a Marietta, Georgia-based brokerage that specializes in construction insurance.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Skinner & Co. places commercial, contract, payment and performance bonds for the construction industry. Todd Skinner, president, and about six staff will join Hub Gulf South.
