Hub acquires Wisconsin agency

Hub International Ltd. said Thursday it has acquired Compass Insurance Services Inc., a Kronenwetter, Wisconsin-based agency that specializes in the real estate, construction, transportation, health care, agribusiness, finance and nonprofit sectors.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Compass President John Guerndt and the agency’s staff will join Hub Midwest West. Compass has 29 employees, according to LinkedIn.
The agency has offices in Eagle River, Merrill, Minocqua, Stevens Point, Tomahawk and Wausau, Wisconsin, and Ironwood, Michigan, in addition to its headquarters in Kronenwetter.
