Hub buys Indiana brokerage

Hub International Ltd. said Monday it has acquired GMG Group Inc. and unit Meyers Glaros LLC, a brokerage based in Merrillville, Indiana.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Meyers Glaros has more than 30 employees and provides commercial and personal insurance, and employee benefits services.

Managing partners Matt Glaros and Jeff Meyers and the broker’s staff will join Hub Midwest East.

Hub is the ninth-largest broker of U.S. business, according to the most recent Business Insurance ranking.
