Hub buys Minnesota brokerage

Hub International Ltd. said Tuesday it has acquired Eden Prairie, Minnesota-based Horizon Agency Inc.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Horizon specializes in sectors including real estate, entertainment and sports, and health care. The broker also provides employee benefits and personal insurance, a Hub statement said.
Dan Scattarella, Horizon founder and CEO; Jake Hoeschler, principal; Neal White, president; and the broker’s 35 employees will join Hub Great Plains, the statement said.
Grant Matthies, president of Hub Great Plains, said in the statement that the deal bolsters Hub’s growth in the region.
