Hub buys Ohio agency

Hub International Ltd. said Thursday it has acquired Columbus, Ohio-based agency OH-INS LLC, which does business as Overmyer Hall Associates.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Overmyer Hall has about 50 employees, according to LinkedIn. It provides commercial, risk management, surety and personal lines coverages, with a focus on the construction and real estate industries, according to a Hub statement.

Overmyer Hall CEO Greg Overmyer, partners Brian Hall, Dan Overmyer and Ryan Gilmore and the agency’s staff will join Hub’s Heartland region. Mr. Overmyer will become property/casualty leader for the region, Hub said.
