Hub hires former USI leader in Chicago

Hub International Ltd. has hired former USI Insurance Services LLC executive Robert Benvenuto as chief sales officer for the Midwest.
Mr. Benvenuto was previously president and practice leader of USI’s commercial risk and insurance brokerage business in Illinois.
Prior to joining USI in 2019, he was an executive vice president at Marsh LLC and had previously worked at JLT Specialty USA, Aon PLC, Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. and Willis Towers Watson PLC.
Based in Chicago, he will be responsible for the development of Hub’s recently launched complex risk practice in the Midwest, a Hub spokeswoman said. He will report to Lerone Sidberry, CEO of Hub Midwest.
According to Business Insurance’s most recent ranking, Hub is the world’s fifth-largest insurance brokerage and USI is the 10th largest.
