Hub introduces North America property practice

Hub International Ltd. said Thursday it has launched a North America property practice, headed up by Blake Giannisis.

Mr. Giannisis, who joined Hub last year from Aon PLC, will serve as North American property practice leader.

The practice formally brings together its group of property specialists in North America, Hub said.

The practice will provide tailored risk management and coverage to better address complex challenges in the commercial insurance property market, including rate increases, record industry losses, insurance to value adequacy, heightened underwriting scrutiny and capacity issues, Hub said.

Single carrier programs, shared and layered programs, reinsurance and alternative risk solutions will be offered.
