ICW Group names Lynn Moretti chief claims officer

ICW Group Insurance Cos. on Thursday announced the appointment of Lynn Moretti as chief claims officer.

Ms. Moretti, who relocated from London to ICW Group’s headquarters in San Diego, will lead the company’s in-house claims operations and oversee a nationwide team of claims professionals. It is a new role for the company, according to a spokeswoman.

She brings more than 25 years of claims expertise to ICW Group. Most recently, she served as chief claims officer for AmTrust Specialty, where she led international claims operations across the U.K. and European Union, introduced a centralized operating model, and implemented new systems to enhance efficiency and service.

Prior to that, she held senior leadership roles at AmTrust Financial, Selective Insurance and Liberty Mutual, where she managed complex liability and specialty claims. As an attorney, Moretti also brings deep expertise in litigation strategy, talent development and change management.
