A bill was introduced in the Idaho House of Representatives on Monday that provides compensation for coronavirus vaccination-related accidents or injuries.
H.B. 0698 provides that if an employer requires coronavirus vaccination as a condition of hiring or continued employment, any accident or injury caused by such vaccination would be compensable.
Further, the provisions of the bill “shall be construed in the light most favorable to an employee with respect to a claim for compensation for any accident or injury,” documents state.
The House bill was introduced by the Ways and Means Committee and referred to the House Judiciary, Rules & Administration Committee, where it is pending.
