Indigo launches expert witness protection add-on for doctors

Medical professional liability insurer Indigo announced Monday the release of expert witness protection coverage for physicians testifying during legal proceedings.
The policy is sublimited and provides up to $100,000 in coverage for defense costs, deposition coverage and defense against allegations of professional misrepresentation or negligence, the Miami-based insurer said.
Indigo’s platform uses artificial intelligence to provide customized pricing based on individual risk profiles.
