Insurtech Arturo welcomes Donnie Millar and Thom Keyes to leadership team

Arturo, a property specialist offering AI-based solutions to insurers, is strengthening its leadership team with the addition of Donnie Millar as Vice President of Data Science and AI, and Thom Keyes as Vice President of Finance.

Bringing extensive tech startup experience, both executives join Arturo as the insurtech company scales into new markets that stand to benefit from advanced property intelligence solutions.

Millar, a seasoned data scientist and quantitative developer, joins Arturo as VP of Data Science and AI after a 13-year career at Goldman Sachs where he played a pivotal role in revolutionising their research division’s data strategy and computing capabilities.

His expertise lies in building and advancing innovative technology, particularly in the realms of predictive analytics and machine learning.

Millar said: “I’m thrilled to join Arturo and return to my roots in the startup world while building on my quantitative development experience. Also joining Aruto is Keyes, who has been appointed VP of Finance. His 18-year career encompasses high-growth SaaS and fintech startups, including Womply, Ancestry.com, and HireVue, where he performed complex financial modelling, optimised financial processes, and led strategic decision-making to ensure financial stability.
