Insurtech Vindati names CEO

Vindati, an insurtech specialty managing general underwriter and part of Innovisk Capital Partners LLP, said Monday that it has named John Przedpelski as CEO.

He succeeds Tyler Van Spanje, a co-founder of Vindati who served as CEO for nine months. Mr. Van Spanje has left the company, a spokeswoman said in an email.

Mr. Przedpelski is based in New York and was most recently executive vice president of Vindati backer Innovisk Capital Partners, where he served as the global head of distribution and digital partnerships across Innovisk’s businesses.

David Thomas, CEO of Innovisk Capital Partners, said in a statement that Mr. Przedpelski “has been one of Vindati’s key architects from the start.”

Vindati offers specialty products for small and mid-sized businesses including builders risk, motor truck cargo and auto physical damage.
