Juniper Re hires former Aspen exec to head facultative reinsurance entry

Juniper Re LLC, the reinsurance broking arm of Baldwin Group, said Tuesday it is entering the facultative reinsurance market and has hired Russ Wagner, former North American facultative leader at Aspen Insurance Group, as facultative reinsurance head.

Mr. Wagner most recently was senior vice president at Aspen where he oversaw the North American property treaty and facultative portfolio.

Baldwin launched Juniper Re last year.
