Lancashire announces two senior appointments to its Board

Bermuda-based re/insurer Lancashire Holdings Limited has announced two senior appointments: Paul Gregory as an Executive Director on its Board and Philip Broadley as the Chair of the Board of Directors.

Gregory previously held the position of Chief Underwriting Officer at Lancashire Insurance Company. With a tenure spanning 17 years at Lancashire, starting in 2007, Gregory brings extensive experience to his new role.

Prior to his time at Lancashire, Gregory served as an energy underwriter at AIG and began his career as an account executive at Marsh.

Alex Maloney, Chief Executive Officer of Lancashire, expresses his enthusiasm for Gregory’s appointment, stating, “We are delighted to welcome Paul to the Board. Paul has been a trusted colleague, adviser and a valued member of our senior management team for many years. He is a welcome addition to our Board.”

Broadley, now serving as the Chair of the Lancashire Board, adds, “Paul’s knowledge of our business, leadership skills and deep industry knowledge will add great value to the Board and help us to deliver on our strategic objectives.”

Broadley joined Lancashire Insurance Group in November 2023, initially serving as its Non-Executive Director before assuming his recent role.

He also holds positions as Non-Executive Director at both AstraZeneca and Legal & General, each for over seven years.
