Lancashire Holdings appoints Linda Ventresca as Non-Exec Director

Bermuda-based Lancashire Holdings Limited has announced the appointment of Linda Ventresca, former Head of Digital at AXIS Capital, as a Non-Executive Director.
An experienced senior leader in the insurance industry, Ventresca brings first-hand knowledge of the US and international insurance and reinsurance markets to her new position with Lancashire.
She worked at AXIS Capital from 2003 to 2023, having most recently served as the company’s Head of Digital. The executive previously held a number of leadership roles at AXIS, including Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Transformation Officer and Head of Corporate Development and Investor Relations and served as a director of Axis Reinsurance Company.
Prior to AXIS Capital, Ventresca served at MMC Capital (predecessor firm to Stone Point Capital) where she was a private equity investment associate closely involved in the formation of AXIS Capital.
She started her career as an analyst in the financial institutions investment banking operations of UBS Securities, LLC and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
Through her career she has also served as a director on a number of boards and in an advisory capacity, with a focus in the insurance sector. The executive is a member of the board of Velocity Holdco., LLC, the holding company of a managing general agency/carrier hybrid specialising in excess and surplus lines insurance for the US property market.
