Liberty hires former Newfront leader, opens office in San Francisco area

The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers said it has hired former Newfront real estate practice leader Jonathan Naranjo and opened a San Francisco-area office under the brand Liberty Naranjo.

Mr. Naranjo, who spent seven years at Hub International Ltd. before joining Newfront in 2021, joins his brother, Michael Naranjo, as a managing partner of the office, Liberty said in a statement Thursday.

Michael Naranjo joined Liberty from NFP Corp. in 2024.

Liberty Naranjo functions as its own legal entity with its own profit and loss account, a Liberty spokeswoman said.

Jonathan Naranjo will handle property/casualty and Michael Naranjo will handle employee benefits.
