Liberty Mutual appoints global risks executive

Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. on Friday named Ben Johnson president of field operations and marketing for its global risk solutions North America business, effective July 3.

He succeeds Marc Orloff, who was named president of the insurer’s global risk solutions North America middle–market business earlier this year.

Based in Plano, Texas, Mr. Johnson will report to Kevin Smith, GRS North America president.

Mr. Johnson was most recently leader of U.S. field operations at Ironshore Specialty Insurance Co., a unit of Liberty Mutual.
