Liberty Mutual hires former Axis exec for casualty role

Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. Friday named Allison Janisch as global product leader, casualty, for its global risk solutions business.

Most recently, Ms. Janisch was Zurich-based global head of casualty at Axis Capital Holdings Ltd. She will relocate to Boston later this year, a Liberty Mutual spokesman said.

Reporting to Matthew Moore, president of underwriting for global risk solutions, she succeeds Noel MacCarthy, who is retiring.
