Liberty Mutual hires middle-market executive from CNA Financial

Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. on Thursday named former CNA Financial Corp. executive Dieter Korte to the newly created position of Global Risk Solutions North America chief underwriting officer, middle market.

Mr. Korte is responsible for underwriting performance across all middle-market products, a statement said.

He is based in Boston and reports to Global Risk Solutions North America Chief Underwriting Officer Brandon Fick and the president of GRS NA middle market.

Mr. Korte most recently led CNA Financial’s middle market team, the statement said.
