Liberty Mutual Reinsurance grows Agriculture and Parametrics team with Belin’s addition

Liberty Mutual Reinsurance (LM Re), the reinsurance arm of Boston headquartered Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has announced the appointment of Charlotte Belin as a Senior Underwriter within its Agriculture and Parametrics team.

Belin, who will be based in Paris, brings over 13 years of industry experience to her new role, and joins the company from AXA Climate, where she most recently served as a Parametric Underwriter.

Prior to that, she worked as a Senior Commercial Lines Pricing Actuary, Property for AXA XL. Belin has also served as a Non-Life Reserving Actuary at Mandiri AXA General Insurance and as a Commercial Lines Pricing Actuary, Casualty at AXA Corporate Solutions.

On related news, LM Re announced the hire of Manja Kollmann from Generali Germany as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), back in September.

Based in London, Kollmann will work closely with Kirk Maddern, interim COO, to ensure a seamless transition prior to his retirement at the end of the year.

LM Re expects Kollmann to be a “key influencer” as the company continues its commitment to providing tailored, client-focused reinsurance solutions across key markets.
