Liberty Mutual snags Chubb executive

Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. said Monday it has named former Chubb Ltd. executive Neal Bhatnagar as executive vice president, major accounts casualty, global risk solutions, a new position.

Mr. Bhatnagar, whose appointment is effective Nov. 8, was previously head of field operations at Chubb Global Casualty, the insurer said in its statement.

Mr. Bhatnagar, who is Chicago-based, will oversee Liberty Mutual’s underwriting and risk management teams for a national account portfolio across industries including construction and health care as well as excess casualty, the insurer said in its statement.
