Lindsay Shipper to lead Beazley’s North American Commercial Property team

Specialty insurer Beazley has announced the appointment of Lindsay Shipper as Head of Commercial Property, North America, effective April 1, 2025.

Shipper, who has nearly two decades of property market experience and extensive broker insight, is joining Beazley after 16 years at Marsh, where she held several senior positions, most recently as Managing Director, Southeast Zone Property Leader.

In her new role at Beasley, the executive will be based in Atlanta, GA, and report to Richard Montminy, Group Head of Property Risks, who stated: “Property owners across North America are facing an evolving landscape driven by climate risk and increasing property values.

“At Beazley, we have consistently demonstrated that the property market is one we know well. We are committed to continuing our investment to support our brokers and clients in meeting the challenge, and I am delighted that Lindsay will be joining to help us realise our growth ambitions.”

Commenting on her appointment, Shipper said: “Beazley’s growth in the North American property market has been impressive to witness and I’m looking forward to being part of such an energised team, building on their successes and delivering the solutions brokers and clients need.”

Beazley has developed a strong reputation in the specialty property market, particularly within the US excess and surplus lines market.

The company has recently expanded its global property underwriting reach into the European market.
