Lloyd’s veteran to lead St. John’s risk management school

Hank Watkins, regional director and president of Lloyd’s Americas, will become executive director and associate dean of St. John’s University’s Maurice R. Greenberg School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science in New York, effective Nov. 1.

He will succeed Brandon W. Sweitzer, who is retiring.

Mr. Watkins joined Lloyd’s of London in 2009. Prior to that he held client management and leadership positions at Chubb Ltd., Johnson & Higgins, Marsh Ltd. and HRH.

Lloyd’s last month announced that Mr. Watkins would step down and named Dawn Miller as chief commercial officer of Lloyd’s and CEO of Lloyd’s Americas, effective Sept. 1.
