Lockton announces a promotion

Lockton Cos. LLC said Monday it has promoted Sarah Downey to U.S. professional and executive risk leader.

She succeeds Devin Beresheim, who was appointed Lockton’s U.S. risk solutions leader earlier this year, the broker said.

Ms. Downey now oversees the team responsible for broking, risk advisory and claims support across all major financial and professional insurance lines. She reports to Mr. Beresheim.

Most recently, Ms. Downey was Lockton’s head of operations for professional and executive risk and a blockchain adviser for the broker. Prior to that, she was Lockton’s U.S. claims leader.
