Lockton hires former Marsh exec as Mountain West COO

Lockton Cos. Inc. said Wednesday it has recruited former Marsh LLC executive Julie Marcello as chief operating officer of its Mountain West operations based in Denver.
Ms. Marcello will lead operations and business development for the region, which includes Denver, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City and Seattle, Lockton said in a statement.
She will report to Tate McCoy, CEO of Lockton’s Mountain West operations.
With more than two decades of domestic and international experience, Ms. Marcello was most recently a market leader for Marsh, where she oversaw the Chicago office and led five other Midwest offices. Prior to that she held various global leadership positions at Chubb Ltd.
Ms. Marcello was last week named one of the 2021 winners of Business Insurance’s annual Women to Watch awards program.
