Lockton hires former Marsh financial lines leader

Lockton Cos. LLC said Monday it has named former Marsh LLC managing director Kelly Thoerig to the newly created role of U.S. directors and officers liability and employment practices liability product leader.

At Marsh, Ms. Thoerig was EPL and wage and hour coverage leader and financial and professional lines claims advocate.

She joined Marsh in 2012 from law firm Troutman Sander LLP.

Ms. Thoerig, who is based in Richmond, Virginia, will report to Sarah Downey, Lockton’s U.S. professional and executive risk leader.
