Lockton promotes Paul Rodriguez to national surety practice leader

Lockton Cos. LLC Tuesday promoted Paul Rodriguez to national surety practice leader, succeeding Patrick Pribyl, who will transition to chairman of the national surety practice.

Mr. Rodriguez joined Lockton in 2022 as the national surety growth leader, Lockton said in a statement. Prior to that, he spent 18 years with Aon PLC, most recently as a regional managing director.

He is based in Los Angeles and reports to Tim Ryan, Lockton’s U.S. president, according to an email from a spokesperson.

As chairman, Mr. Pribyl will serve as an adviser to Mr. Rodriguez and the broader practice while continuing to engage with clients and insurer partners.

Lockton was founded in 1966 as a construction and surety brokerage, the statement said.
