Lockton Re adds former Guy Carpenter facultative exec

Lockton Re, the reinsurance business of Lockton Cos. LLC, has recruited former Guy Carpenter & Co. LLC executive Rob McNamara as North American facultative leader.

Based in Hartford, Connecticut, Mr. McNamara was most recently a managing director at Guy Carpenter within its facultative practice, where he led the Chicago, Hartford, West Coast and construction property facultative operations.

Lockton Re said in a statement that in the new position Mr. McNamara will strengthen the reinsurance brokerage’s North American and global facultative capabilities as it continues to build out the business.
