Lucy Clarke elected President of the Insurance Institute of London for 2024-25

The Insurance Institute of London, a professional organisation for insurance and risk management professionals, has announced Lucy Clarke as its President for 2024-25.

Clarke joined WTW in 2024, bringing with her more than 25 years of industry expertise, with a strong emphasis on delivering top-tier client service, specialising in complex insurance products, and overseeing placement strategies.

Before her role at WTW, Clarke was President of Marsh Specialty & Global Placement from 2019 to 2023.

Her career also includes 17 years at JLT Group, where she held several key leadership positions, including CEO of JLT Global Specialty.

Clarke holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Economics from Vanderbilt University. From 2022 to 2024, she served as Deputy President of the Insurance Institute of London, becoming the first woman to ever hold the role in the Institute’s 117-year history.
