Luke Proctor to lead Aon’s Reinsurance Analytics for UK and Bermuda

Global insurance and reinsurance broker Aon has announced the appointment of Luke Proctor as Head of Reinsurance Analytics for UK and Bermuda.

“Analytics is fundamental to how we understand risk here at Aon. Luke will be leading the strategic direction of Reinsurance analytics capabilities in the UK and Bermuda to help you make better business decisions,” an Aon spokesperson stated.

Proctor has been with Aon for over 15 years, having joined the company in 2009 as Analysts for Aon Benfield Securities – an Aon business that was retired in 2018.

He was then appointed Actuary, where he was in charge of reinsurance analysis on UK motor and UK property business. He was also the lead actuary on Israel/MENA business.

In 2015, Proctor was named Head of Actuarial, in charge of a growing team of actuaries working on UK domestic motor and property, as well as London Market and International Specialty Casualty reinsurance.

Following this position, the executive became a Reinsurance Broker, focusing on select complex and technical long tail/specialty casualty clients, before he was appointed Head of Long Tail Analytics in 2024.
