Maria Borrego named CUO of DUAL Europe as regional expansion continues

DUAL Europe has appointed Maria Borrego as Chief Underwriting Officer, reporting to Olaf Jonda, CEO of DUAL Europe.

Based in Spain, Borrego will reportedly play a pivotal role in driving underwriting excellence for DUAL’s European clients.

According to the firm, this appointment reinforces its commitment to delivering top-tier underwriting standards as it continues to expand its operations across the region.

Borrego has previously worked with brokers such as Aon and Marsh, and global insurers including AIG.

Most recently, she held a key role at QBE as Europe Deputy Underwriting Manager and Head of Financial Lines.
