Mark Moitoso named President of ICW Group Insurance Companies

California-domiciled, privately held insurance company, ICW Group Insurance Companies, has appointed Mark Moitoso as President, effective immediately.
In this role, he will oversee the company’s underwriting and shared services operations, drive growth, and expand its product line. Based at ICW Group’s headquarters in San Diego, Moitoso succeeds Kevin Prior, who will remain the company’s Chief Executive Officer.
In addition to his primary responsibilities, Moitoso will oversee the company’s shared services operations and lead more than 1,200 team members across multiple offices nationwide.
An industry veteran with over 35 years of experience, Moitoso brings extensive knowledge of the property and casualty insurance segments to ICW Group. He has a strong background in technical and operational expertise, having worked across multiple functions throughout his career.
Most recently, Moitoso served as Executive Vice President of Risk Practices at Lockton Companies, working from the firm’s offices in Kansas City and Atlanta. Prior to that, he spent 25 years with Liberty Mutual, holding various leadership roles.
