Marsh Asia appoints Brent Clawson as Global Placement Leader

Insurance broker and risk advisor Marsh has announced the appointment of Brent Clawson as Global Placement Leader for Marsh Asia.

Clawson brings nearly two decades of industry experience, particularly in Asia. He has been working at Marsh for over a year now, joining the firm in September 2023 as Insurer Consulting Group Leader, Asia. In his new role, Clawson will continue to be based in Singapore.

Before joining Marsh, Clawson spent eight years at Aon, where he most recently served as Chief Broking Officer, Asia. In this role, he developed and executed broking strategy across Aon’s Commercial Risk business in Asia.

Prior to that, he worked at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) for six years, most recently as Regional Manager Asia, MidCorporate Underwriting.

Earlier in his career, Clawson worked as an Underwriter at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company and as a Claims Adjuster at Amica Mutual Insurance Co.
