Marsh exec rejoins Willis Towers Watson

Willis Towers Watson PLC on Thursday said that former Marsh LLC executive Christian Ryan has rejoined the firm as industry specialties leader for corporate risk and broking North America, effective Sept. 6.

Mr. Ryan will report to Michael Chang, formerly with Sompo International Holdings Ltd., who is joining Willis as head of corporate risk and broking for North America on Oct. 3.

Mr. Ryan, based in Dallas, succeeds Tom Coughlin, who is retiring.

Mr. Ryan most recently served as Dallas office head and south-central zone risk segment leader at Marsh, Willis said in a statement.

Prior to that, he was managing director and U.S. leader for the hospitality, sports and entertainment practice at Marsh.

Mr. Ryan previously served as a producer at Willis from 2005 through 2014.
