Marsh LLC said Thursday it has hired Charles Williamson, who previously was CEO of personal lines insurer Vault Holdings LLC, to be CEO of its managing general underwriting business Victor.
He will succeed Brian Hanuschak, who was named chairman of the unit. The appointments are effective Aug. 1, a Marsh statement said.
New York-based Mr. Williamson had been a co-founder and CEO of Vault, a managing general agency and reciprocal insurance exchange for wealthy individuals, since 2017. Prior to Vault, he worked at broker Crystal & Co. and American International Group Inc., where he spent more than 20 years. He will report to Martin South, president and CEO of Marsh.
Mr. Hanuschak has been CEO of Victor since 2020.
