Marsh hires former Aon exec as US construction practice leader

Marsh LLC said Monday it has hired former Aon PLC commercial leader Jim Dunn as U.S. construction practice leader.

Atlanta-based Mr. Dunn will report to Michael Pellegrini, U.S. and Canada specialty leader at Marsh.

Mr. Dunn most recently was chief commercial officer-U.S. construction and infrastructure at Aon. Prior to joining Aon in 2010, he held various roles at Allied North America and Consolidated Risk Solutions.

Rob McDonough, who previously held the role of U.S. construction industry leader at Marsh, left the company March 10 to join Aon. In a recently filed lawsuit, Marsh alleges that Aon poached Mr. McDonough, who convinced 19 other team members to resign.
