Marsh McLennan Agency acquires Acumen Solutions Group to expand insurance services

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), a division of Marsh offering insurance and financial services across North America, has acquired Melville, New York-based full-service insurance agency Acumen Solutions Group LLC, with terms of the deal undisclosed.
Founded in 2012, Acumen specialises in offering tailored insurance solutions for businesses and individuals, with a focus on the construction, real estate, and aviation sectors, and all employees, including President Tony D’Elia, will join MMA while continuing operations from Melville, NY.
“We have long admired Acumen’s industry expertise and commitment to clients,” added Jerry Alderman, CEO of MMA’s Northeast region.
“As part of Marsh McLennan Agency, Acumen will be able to offer a wider range of creative solutions and capabilities to clients in the region.”
