Marsh names global FINPRO leader

Marsh LLC on Tuesday named longtime London-based broker and leader Paul Denny as global head of its financial and professional lines division.

As global specialty head, FINPRO, Marsh Specialty, Mr. Denny will report to Lucy Clarke, president of Marsh Specialty and Marsh Global Placement, who previously managed the responsibility.

Mr. Denny, who joined Marsh in 1989, was previously CEO of FINPRO U.K. He will be succeeded in that position by Beth Thurston, who leads Marsh’s U.K. management liability team. Ms. Thurston, in turn, will be succeeded by Stephanie Manson, chief client officer for management liability and head of directors and officers product for the brokerage.

The changes are effective Jan. 1.

Marsh announced several other appointments in specialty business on Monday.
