Marsh names Lang digital leader

Marsh LLC Thursday named Christopher Lang to the newly created position of digital leader, Marsh specialty and global placement, effective Nov. 1, and named two executives to replace him in his previous position of global placement leader U.S. and Canada.

In his new position, New York-based Mr. Lang, who held his previous position at the brokerage since 2017, will lead Marsh’s digital insurance placement strategy, Marsh said in a statement.

He will report to Pat Donnelly, president of Marsh’s specialty and global placement division.

Daniel Aronson, U.S. casualty practice leader, and Michael Rouse, U.S. property practice leader, will be co-placement leaders for the region, taking over Mr. Lang’s previous responsibilities.

The New York-based executives will report to John Donnelly, global head of placement, Marsh said.
