Matthew Sheppard named Deputy CUO of OdysseyRe’s London branch

Odyssey Reinsurance Company, the property and casualty reinsurance arm of Odyssey Group Holdings, Inc., a subsidiary of Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited, has appointed Matthew Sheppard as Deputy Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO), London branch.
Sheppard will work closely with Chief Underwriting Officer Andre-Francois Rocque. In the new role, he will oversee OdysseyRe’s London Market reinsurance business.
Sheppard has over two decades of industry experience and insight. He joined Odyssey Re in 2010 and has led the Property Treaty & Retrocession unit since 2017.
