McGill and Partners promotes Samuel Harris to Partner within Complex P&C

Insurance and reinsurance broker McGill and Partners has named Samuel Harris, who joined the firm in 2022, as a Partner in its Complex Property and Casualty team.

Harris joined the brokerage two years ago as an Associate with a focus on mining and heavy industry.

Before McGill and Partners, Harris held a dual broker and account executive role in the International Property and Mining team at re/insurance broker Gallagher.

Most recently, he was a broker in the Mining and Metals wholesale placement team at insurance broker Marsh, where he worked with some of the world’s largest mining clients, all with a diverse mix of commodities.

Prior to Gallagher, he worked at Pen Underwriting UK for more than a year, including as Trainee Underwriter and then Assistant Underwriter.

“I joined McGill and Partners to work with industry leading professionals to help further my development and to be part of a company with a one team approach, who put the client first,” said Harris.
